USDC to Wise USD account: cash out to US dollars

How to send USDC from your wallet to your Wise USD account account in US dollars via RTP / ACH: where to find your routing + account number, steps, limits and FAQs.

In the US, USDC is already dollars on-chain, so cashing out is about moving it to a bank account with a routing and account number. Sacamos's partner pays out over RTP when your bank participates — funds typically arrive in minutes, even on weekends — and otherwise over ACH, which settles on business days. You stay in self-custody until the moment you send.

Where to find your routing + account number — Wise USD account

In Wise, open your USD balance and look for its account details; Wise shows a US routing number and account number for receiving ACH, separate from details for wires or SWIFT.

What to know about Wise USD account

  • Wise is not a US bank; its USD account details are provided through a partner bank, which is why the routing number isn't Wise's own.
  • Make sure you copy the ACH details, not the SWIFT/international details, which are meant for transfers from abroad.
  • The Wise account must be in your own name; a Wise Business account works only if the business is the verified party.

Taxes (general information)

General information, not tax advice: the IRS treats digital assets as property. If you are paid in USDC for work, that is generally ordinary income at its fair market value when received; later disposals can produce (usually small, for a stablecoin) gains or losses. Brokers began issuing Form 1099-DA for 2025 transactions. Talk to a tax professional.
